This document aims to complement the ongoing Austin Resource Recovery (ARR) in public outreach projects and ensure their effectiveness. The plan advocates public outreach as a means to accomplish ARR’s goals of achieving 75% waste diversion by 2020 and 90% waste diversion by 2040. This document elaborates on the suggestions made in the Austin Resources Recovery Recommendations Report by providing a roadmap of public outreach activities.
